Today was an anti-spam/scam day - I have removed around 1200 members that were spamming too much, bothering other users or had false information on their profile - also multiple profiles of the same people lead to the removal of all profiles.

Hopfully, nobody *innocent* was affected by this....

Just to point out, a lot of people in the chatroom have to make a second account in order to be able to access it, due to this Adobe issue which prevents you from accessing chat. The only way we know to get round it is to make a new account.

So I assume we'd count as the 'innocent'? Very Happy

When you have problems accessing the chatroom, usually it helps to reload the whole webpage and wait for it to load - sometimes it takes a while until you see the login windows....the chat software is really awful, and it is also an old version.

if it is password related, just try the lost-password link and generate a new password, maybe this solves it.

If someone was affected by this, their account would be deleted now and their email banned.

It's not that kind of issue. Basically, it comes up with an error message saying: "A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer may become unresponsive." Basically, that message just continually pops up until the chatroom crashes. And the only way to get round it is to create a new account. You can re-install Flash, use another computer, use a brand-new computer (tried all of that and more) and the message still pops up. A lot of people have been affected by it; mods included.

EDIT: Appears I'm one of the affected then; my chat accounts are banned - emails included. Smile So I'll assume that once my account is fully Adobe-dead, I won't be able to use the chatroom anymore. Coolio...
