Home >> Dating >> Would you move if you met someone online?
13.09.2006, 20:32 quote
I think I would too....but would have to be very very sure that it was the right person for me

I'd probably move if it was an absolutely, 100% rock solid relationship. But like everyone, i have friends and family around here so wouldn't move far away. To be honest, i've seen lots of mates move in with girls and then the whole relationship goes tits up so i'd like to keep my own place, my own little space of independance cos most women nowadays are also independent so rarely commit to anything serious and/or like their time alone.
13.09.2006, 23:19 quote
I would but this is would be for a variety of reasons including:
1/ I want to move anyway, just can't afford it at the moment
2/ I like travelling and meeting new people
3/ If we get on, why wait? jump in with two feet i say
4/ no children here so am a free spirit
5/ bound to be better apprentiship placements elsewhere (there are zero oppertunities here for about 50 miles at least)
6/ If it doesn't work out you'd have experience and probably new friends to go with it
but for that too happen, we'd just have to click, you know?

I've moved around alot throughout my lifetime, so relocating would not be an issue, wherever I lay my hat and all that.......but, and it is a big but, I do have my kids to consider, both at secondary school, so would probably wait til they'd done with their education.

Well as i am a gentleman! i would have to say i would put your kids first! education is VIP in this day and age. I moved with my perants just before my 11 plus and then just before my O levels and finding different curicullums buggered me up completely! But as a guy with a rather narrow profession i would say that being able to find a job would be high on my priority list!
