Did we really need the UCLA to tell us that women generally prefer men who display essentially masculine characteristics? Hardly shocking is it? Darkhorse58 is spot-on to point out the sample group is unrepresentative, but I doubt whether the result would have been much different even if the social science had been better.

Surveys and polls deal in generalities by their very nature. Of course there will be exceptions, but they don`t disprove the overall trend.

Oh, and "contrasexual archetype"?????? Jesus wept!

The one that describes men who spend more time in the
bathroom dolling themselves up than their female counterparts.

I once met a guy while traveling who carried his own hair dryer,
it was funny.

There's been a few recent articles about what women are attracted
to, it seem to change all the time.

Can't see anything negative in what I previously posted.
I'm just making conversation regardless of whether it's
stating the obvious or not, what else am I to say.

Now I have to defend myself for posting a few comments,
obviously I'm a little bit annoyed, but hey that's what
public postings are for, it's subject to everyone else's
criticism, good or bad.

Besides I thought of the word for the bloke who spends
more time in the bathroom dolling themselves, it's
metro-sexual.
