And women don't take the piss out of overweight men?...One sees this regularly on TV, the insideous way they talk about overweight men, but are more gentle and hypocritical when they talk about overweihgt women...

Me?...Preffer women to be skinny, plump, but not fat...Sorry if I seem insensitive, but that is what they are, just like fat men..Stay off the burgers and chips, oh and cakes...

Women take the piss out of shorter men, bald men, ginger men (EH??), bespectacled men, poorer men...

If you are happy with the way you are, stop whingeing and get on with it...I do..

Sorry Jumpwings, but that is the one type of line and attitude that drives people to ask questions like this.....The stereotypical male response that seems to be. How do you know thats why someone is overweight??? Just like men, women can have problems that can contribute to having a weight problem so please do not generalise.

People are people and will always slag off others about something. Its not something that anyone can do anything about. They can stop themselves doing it but can't stop others. Its the world we live in unfortunately

Sad fact is Cazza hes right. For the vast majority of people it really is a case of eating a little less and getting off their arse every now and again. That applies to men and women.

I like my women to look like women. Fragile little waifs make great clothes-horses, but I've always found them a complete turn-off physically. Maybe its the fear of breaking something if you're too rough, I dunno, but I'd much rather have a woman you can really get your teeth into (literally, sometimes). There are limits though.

I used to have all sorts of excuses as to why I was overweight, and used to take great offence if anyone attributed to the fact that I was bone idle, ate shit and was putting away 5-8 pints every night. Five-and-a-half stone less and its quite clear that I wasn't just 'big-boned' or had 'problems wiv me glands'.

I'm not saying this is true for everyone, but we're getting an appalling level of obesity in this country. When you can notice it in ten years of walking down your local highstreet its obvious that the UK isn't suffering from some glandular pandemic. More a case of poor diet and an increasingly sedantry lifestyle.

So yeah, give me the curves. But don't give me the bullshit when you have to wash yourself with a rag on a stick. Crying into the eclair won't help either.

Oh yeah, and fat men get far worse comments and attitude than women. Theres no male equivalent of voluptuous to fall back on.

Don't want to get into an argument, but really, your response is typically female in response - defensive and denial...Lighten up, I was generalising and it's a sad fact of modern society, obeesity is certainly the case...As Chikhai agreed...

However...

I have worked with a collegue who had a glandular problem, she categorically denied she was large, she called herself FAT...Complained about that fact she didn't eat a lot, whilst she munched on a packet of crisps for dinner...I ask you!?!?..she really didn't eat a lot, but wot she ate was for the most part crap, unhealthy and for the healthy food, too little...

Now...Let's get onto guys, a point I raised which you missed out in your response...As Chikhai said (again) guys get a much more harder time than girls..Question: Would you go out wi a fat guy...sorry...LARGE chap?

Before ye reply, be truthfully, honest...I don't really care wot your answer would be, this is for yourself to answer, to yourself...

ME?...Had too much red wine, good food and not enough excercise in recent years, and then theres the festive seasonall munchings..This year I will get back to near as dam hell as I used to be (before I turned 30 years old was a 28 waist and 40 chest...Didn't do weight lifting, was just the way I was...)..34 waist now...Gee too large for me...

I'll end on the same note I did before...

Women take the piss out of shorter men, bald men, ginger men (EH??), bespectacled men, poorer men...

If you are happy with the way you are, stop whingeing and get on with it...I do..

I deliberately missed out most of your previous comment on purpose. I picked up on the one statement you made that makes people ask the original posters question and if you noted I included men and women in it
To answer your question yes I have and I still would go out with someone who YOU might consider larger. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.

I am not someone who whinges about my size or my personality or the fact I aint a natural blonde. Will never ever hear me whinging. I am who I am and if people can't accept that then they won't be in my life very long.

Annmarie5988 (got yer name right -jeez some people..!!..Call me Mr.Jump..jumpy...jumpergy...jumpydinkydink.. wotever...) I say...

"Thank you"...

"I am who I am, I let people know where they stand"...this is not just a well known (hijacked) female trait, but universal....

Just because I don't agree with the rest...

Would it be better if I lied and said..."yeah, these men are all beasts, they tell you lovely large women that you are fat..wot blasphemy...I think it's terrible, I think you are all very georgous and want to cuddle you forever "..(the last part rather dodgy if you ask me...)

No, I am honest, upfront and speak my mind (as it says in your profile Cazzabee?)....

As I say..If you are happy with the way you are, then be happy and stop bleating about the way others see you, and try to belittle - You....But don't tell yourself lies about the "whys" and the "it's an addiction"...Etc...I don't...
