I would guess that theres alot of guys out there like me, I want to meet women, but dont have the self confidence to go up to the women that i fancy, for fear of rejection. I dont think thats its anything to do with my age, but lots to do with the fact that I havnt been on the "dating" scene for a long long time.
They should do some kind of a course teaching us guys what it is that we should be doing.

Just remember, the worst they can do is not show any interest in return.

It's no change from before, except now you're more knowledgeable, and hence can look to other pastures.

i personally find that i dont talk to women in bars/clubs because they have the attitude that you do just want to bang them. There does seem to be an attitude that you cant possibly be chatting to them cos u wanna make new friends, u must be after something. i also find that i get incredibly shy and nervous, talk utter poo and make myself look like a complete p***k!!

I personally like talking to a woman but as Scottymac said, sometimes you do get the feeling as if they have the attitude and talk back in a way as if you are after only one thing. Although sometimes you cant blame them as the amount of blokes who do just want one thing is increasing.
