we all feel sorry for ourselves at some stage but attention seeking is not the remedy. i mean no offence to you but look in a mirror... you KNOW you are not ugly.

I'm not sure she is attention seeking. It's pretty easy to feel ugly. As somebody who's very shy i'd be more inclined to worry about that. Anyway, you really are very pretty and i'm not just being polite.

I'd actually argue society has gone the way that it is far easier for a girl to begin speaking with a bloke in a social setting than it is vice versa nowadays. But then I'm the ultimate in leaving myself to rue missed opportunities
