I think it just depends on how u approach a person and the person you are approaching. I am the type of person that will just go up and say you are a very sexy looking man, as some of the guys on here know. I have messaged just to say that or that i like their posts. As far as someone msging me, put a little more into it than just hi or i like your pic, talk about something in common on both your profiles, which is what i have said before in these forums, ok i have overstayed today

always the crazilicious aluria
I'll admit to telling one or 2 guys on here that I liked the sound/look of them Wink but i could never do it in the 'real' world. I'm a lot shyer than I appear virtually and if someone takes it the wrong way on a dating site (or wherever), it's a lot easier to deal with than if someone in front of you does.

most of them carry stun guns and mace, so it only makes sense to be a bit wary on approach, my advice is to circle around them until they get dizzy and fall down.

i don't view myself as hard to approach. infact i am very friendly and lively. i am much like i am on here. i'd talk to my own reflection really. i have often went out for a cig in the pubs and not come back for half hour cos i met a really interesting stranger. lmao.

but still i dont get asked out.

i think men just make up these ideas that women are hard to approach to make us do all the work. Evil or Very Mad

mysticmuso.... many girls would love a guy to come up to her and chat her up... here in Ireland .. a guy normally will chat you up but he needs to have 20 pints inside him first. Theres no such thing as getting to know his sober self ... it just wont happen...
Life is too short not to do what you want to do especially when its something as nice as going up to a girl and telling her you think shes cute and would she like to go for a drink.. the worse she can say is no...

For you i think id need at least 30

Guys don't like to approach me. I give off a "I'm a sarcastic bitch" vibe, I think! Unless i'm really happy, and don't stop smiling.

But I have no problem approaching guys.......

I've found women generally approach me from under water and have big scary teeth

I could be thinking of Jaws however.

lol..

It's only recently I have been able to approach guys. 6 months ago I couldn't have done it - I guess I gained a bit of confidence and overcame shyness?

Not really they are human after all, I find them interesting and beautiful at ease to approach and I smile and flirt in my street, supermarket, bus stops, libraries, clubs, every where usually they smile back. If they turn twice and give me a smile I follow and start chatting more and take it from there.
