Just wandering what kind of success ratio guys/girls are getting on here.
Working to marketing theory 10 replies out of 100 would be considered a successful campaign, but when it comes to dating I think those ratios are unrealistic.

For example I have sent out maybe 100 messages saying hi, and have had about 4 replies ... And why is it that there is so many guys on here and about half as many women.

Is that because girls get offers from men almost everyday on the street - and guys that don't get out much - or find it hard to approach women in public are left standing by the wayside with only the dating sites as a social tool?

I often see incredible women in public, who I am just dying to speak to, but never find the opportunity to approach them, and what usually happens is they pass me by and I don't do anything.

Girls - do you find it creepy f guys approach you in public, if it is only to say hello?

I like it if a guy approaches me.

Unless he gives off a creepy vibe, obviously. Nothing wrong with saying 'Hi' though.

If you see a girl in the street that you like the look of or whatever, just speak to her.

i have had no luck on this site at all all u get is guys that are way to old for me or juys that just ant to use me for sex. why is that?.. x

I noticed that these sites are used for sex maniacs, or sexual terrorists for want of a better word.. maybe nymphos.. wanting all kinds of strange fantasies fulfilled.

Why can't these site provide a virtual place for like minded individuals to hook up.

I must admit that I am looking for sex, but not the cheap thrill kind. More of a female partner I can get on a wavelength with. Sex would be the end result of the encounter but not the be all and end all. Sex would be a result of us getting on so well and feeling enough attraction for that to take place. I have learned that any relationship based on sex alone is doomed to failure... so it's more important to establish a mental link first before the physical.
