First post so hi

I've never really gone for the whole dating thing, especially personal ads and the internet. I've always figured you just can't tell whether you click with someone untill you meet them. The other thing that put me off was the idea that the kind of person I'm looking for probably wouldn't be on here. I guess that's changing nowadays and all sorts of folks are in places like this, just as part of the whole internet revolution thingy, including some friends of mine. To be honest I was insanely bored a few days ago and had exhausted my usual websites so thought I'd have a look at the local personal ads for a laugh. The first hit on google was this place and about the third profile I looked at was a lady who lives about 15 miles away and surprised the hell out of me by seeming as good a match as someone can in a rough profile, beautifull too. So I signed up in a moment of delirium (it was 3 in the morning or something), then chickened out, and here I am. Hopefully I'll make some friends.

I've got a plan for that lady though. Part one of my plan is to definately make contact just as soon as I'm psyched up for it. Part two of my plan is to never really feel quite psyched up enough then be vaugely dissapointed and shrug when she disappears. I figure she can't fail to fall for my awesome powers of procrastination.
