There a lots of reasons why people use these online dating sites. Convenience, more choice, no going out at night to the pubs n clubs hoping to pull (lol), and usually you will find at least a few people who are very serious about finding someone. Granted there are more players and fakes online, and sadly everyone will come into contact with a few before they meet someone ideal for them. Online you can take things at a steady pace, no pressure etc. Just be careful and use your wits, and you should find someone online.

These sites are good as it gives you chance to meet other kinds of people you wouldn't get to meet in your current lifestyle (i.e. work, shyness, location and regular social habits could prevent you from meeting people who would make great friends or lovers).

Im not here for a relationship as such (although I never rule anything out) but Id like to think I can find some interesting people on these sites.
Where I live, its infested with idiots, chavs and other people I simply won't get along with (being unemployed and having a few problems down the months, Im not really in the social circles to meet any new interesting/ good people either) but at least on these sites I might find someone I get on with.

Theres also the added bonus of getting some idea of what the person is like before you meet them.

I actually met my ex on one of these sites before and, although it ended dissapointingly, it was great whilst it lasted.
Finding people like her is like trying to find a needle in a haystack though, but I doubt I could have met someone like her without the aid of the internet.

The higlight of this site for me is where you get a great pic of someone doing their sexiest pose for the camera - glamming it up, yet in the background you can see a clothes maiden with their skanky underwear drying along with a few tea-towels. Pure class!

Ha yeah, love those lazy pics. You get the odd phantom arm still around the person's waist from the deleted third party. Three armed freaks!
