The nicest thing anyone has ever said to me was "I'm really proud of you, you've turned out really well considering who your mother is" lol ... he was actually spot on !

Oddly enough it might just be on here, where a couple of women have said I'm hansome! Which is actualy the first time I've had that from anyone under 60 since the year dot.

I'm not sure if 'incorrigible flirt' and 'indefatigable flirt' are nice things or a bad things (I'm waiting for the jury verdict on that one), but 2 different people said those things to me today.

i was told i'm 'too nice' but apparently i'm also a good listener.

Many years ago, my GP said to me "I wish all my patients could see you before they made an appointment with me. I'd never have to see 90% of them, all they really need and want is a kind, caring person to listen to their troubles...have you ever considered becoming a counsellor?" --- several years later, I qualified as one, but sadly my old GP had retired so I never got to thank him for my new career/life opportunity.

I haven't received anything special that really sticks out in my mind.

As for the nicest thing ever said to me, i can't remember! Most recently it was, you're lovely just as u are! Think that was said yesterday after i got home! Aww!!

Its seems a bit school yard - my friend who I have known since I was about twelve gave me a hug and said
"You are my best friend."

It's a bit silly, but I have always really valued his friendship and looked to him for advice and to know that the feeling is reciprocated just made me feel warm inside.
