i never heard a good one. i heard funny ones, sad ones, scary ones and utterly bonkers ones but never one that made me think, hey yeah i like him.

but in saying that i haven't heard a chat up line in about a year. **cries**

First thing I do - is arrive to the dance or party or whatever dressed to to the 9 - I've got my guy buddies with me, and we're all just havin' a blast! I'll find the best looking girl there (or one of them) and roll up right next to her with my friends, and I'll act like I don't notice her at all. We'll dance and have a blast together and she ALWAYS will notice our group and the fact that I don't care what she thinks, that's when I'll make eye contact - with a face that really says "yeah I notice you're pretty, but so what?" I'll go back to having fun and then I the second time we make eye contact I'll smile or sometimes I'll be lip syncing the song to my guy buddies and will sing it to her for a sec - and then go back to my friends. By then she's for sure interested, that's when I'll smile and at our next eye contact and approach her. I'll talk about anything BUT the basic surface resume questions she always gets. What kind of car she drives, how she knows her friends - whatever, keep it fun and I'll make fun of her a little too. By then she's dying to go home with me.

I promise if you're TRYING to say the right thing, or TRYING to sound impressive, she sees right through it and wants nothing to do with you.
