Home >> Dating >> What would you wear for a date?

Just a normal daytime date, nothing fancy; mild weather, just going to meet up for a coffee/drink, maybe go for a walk, if things go well perhaps go somewhere informal for something to eat later.

So, do you dress up, or just go as ‘you’ (dressed in something you feel comfortable in)?

Me = option 2; jeans, t-shirt (maybe open neck shirt), probably some comfy skater type shoes (Duffs or Vans) – oh, all clean and ironed, of course). In the summer I've even been known to turn up in some cut off combats, but to be fair we've usually agreed in advance to dress-down, so we're comfortable.

Jeans and a smartish top would be my choice.

I would go in shirt, trousers, the whole 9 yards if it was for a meal or something. If its just coffee, then casual.

I always wear my favourite jeans and a nice shirt on a first date (usually short sleeved) and my leather coat if it's chilly.

I tend to go for anything casual, but I would love to wear something barbed wire, but I am afraid that it won't look go on me.
(But then again, my bum doesn't look big in anything, not even a telescope!

i'd go with a pair of decent jeans and probably my black silk shirt if it were a casual date, or if it's like the one i had before christmas, polished shoes, pressed suit my favourite white, dragon shirt and a tie. turned into an expensive night out..
