for me I don't like it when people write nothing about themselves or worse still when they put that they cant be bothered to write anything

Also with pics, I find it a bit irritating when a person has huge sunglasses covering their eyes. Don't they realize eyes are probably the most important factor in physical attraction?

I agree. Some people will send you messages, and there's nothing on their profile apart from the very basics. I don't see how anyone is going to look at that and find it appealing... Plus it makes it harder as you don't know much about them, so it's difficult finding a middle ground.

Plus i think a picture of yourself which isn't from far away helps too. Some people have their only picture which is so far away you can't see nothing about their features from it.

I agree with all of the above, if you're truly after finding someone for a relationship then a rubbish profile is not really going to attract anyone, the more information/pics the better...

As I only chat to people that come on the discussion board, cant say I'm that fussed about profiles. But I dont like arrogant ones...one where people say 'dont like this' and 'dont like that' and dont say anything else.

With pics its: no bleedin pic, fuzzy or dark pic, pics with sunglasses, pic with drink or hand over the mouth or eyes, pics where the person is too small ('Me on the north face of the Eiger.' )
Pics that scream, 'I don't want to be identified, but I feel I have to put a pic here.'
Pics in a profile for someone of 92, that show a person of 29!

I'm not prudish, but I think women's pics that show too much flesh send the wrong message. Of couse, if that's what they want to say, 'Haven't I got the most amazing, sexy body!' - then that's OK!
I'm still undecided about pics showing attractive, young women waving strange, alien dildos about!

With About Me it's: no bleedin About Me, 'If you want to know anything message.', and as Jeggs said - negative comments, especially if it's saying, 'All men are bastards'.

As for pics, agree with some of what handsel says.

I dont like photoshoped or arty farty ones...or dark and fuzzy ones. If poeple put pics up I like clear face and body shots.

I'm always astonished when a guy messages me and tells me to look at his profile and to get back to him if I like what I see, and we can take it from there kinda thing........ BUT when I look at his profile it's virtually empty... and what interests or information IS there, it has NOTHING relevant to anything I've said in MY profile.

I don't like the kind of profiles that don't even have enough information to pick out things to ask questions about. Telling me to ask what I wana know, isn't good enough for me, I prefer 'a point of departure' in order for me to WANT to know somebody.

As for pictures, I agree with all the comments above and I REALLY DO WANT TO SEE YOUR EYES more than any other part of your anatomy!!

i'm not really sure as my profile isn't exactly great ! i never know what to put on them, once i start typing my hands just take over and i end up with a 30 page essay which probably say's nothing of any interest !

Ok changed my pic, and will do again once the pic i want is approved no more sunglasses etc etc etc lol, It does bug me when they put just ask!
i have spent hours filling mine in and havent even finished yet, at the least they could spend some time doing the same

ps i am loving this weather and really dont want rain at the weekend
