Home >> Dating >> What makes me so special?
21.07.2008, 06:47 quote
Quite often women (and some men) want to know what it is that makes them special to a person. This special characteristic, or collection of attributes, can make you special to just one person or to many people.
For example, having a pretty face may be what most people find special. Having equal social, educational, and financial status might make you special. Having a similar sense of humour, or attitude to life, with shared interests might make you special (equally it may make you unattractive).
So when you ask youself, what makes you special, ask what makes you different and what makes you the same. Competition, is about differentiation of the product, not just the price.
So the next time you want to know, "What makes me so special to you?", ask yourself what is special about me!

Gosh, hooray for us all indeed!

Another useful translation in the language of love
"I don't understand you, and I never will" :-
This means there is no chance that you will ever be able to explain yourself to this person. It also means that they fully understand you, and want an easy excuse to exit what has developed so far.
Don't be fooled by the impression that there is any desire whatsoever to discover where the mis-understanding is at fault. These are the words of a person who has discovered what they want to know, and no longer want to engage in negotiations.
When you hear these words, remember exactly what you told them (or they disovered) before the words were uttered. These words explain fully what the missing ingredient in love is! (for those that use them)
