Seeing as this site is 80%+ males, us blokes have a major disadvantage, whereas you ladies have plenty of choice. As always, there are a number of girls who want to share their bodies with as many men as possible, then there are more respectfull ones who are looking for something longer lasting. Of course, this also applies to the men.

I've been on various dating sites for around 4 or 5 years now and to be quite honest, i've spoken to only a handfull of "nice" people in all that time. In fact, i get very few responses at all. I don't think my profiles are badly written or pervy, in fact those that actually read them say i'm really funny and "refreshing".

I don't email women at random...if i send a mail it's because i've found someone i really like, although most never reply. If i was asking if they enjoyed anal sex, dogging or spunk in their hair, i'd understand the silence but i'm actually quite friendly and none pervy.

Sooo, that leaves several possibilities:
1. I'm just a weirdo/pervert and don't realise it
2. modern day women actually LIKE being sent pervy mail and meeting blokes for sex
3. I'm being judged by my photo. Nobody is actually reading my profile as i'm not gorgeous enough and she's thinking "i can do better".

What i'm asking is (particularly the ladies on here) to look at my profile. Read it. Look at my photo. Now tell me HONESTLY, why do you think i'm so undesirable?

I can't find anything wrong with your profile.

Some women are just...I don't know. Rolling Eyes

Your profile is fine except for one glaring thing.

Your "about me" description is rambling. Exceptionally rambling.

I'm sure it's witty or something, but I took one look at that extraordinary amount of text and thought "ahh. Maybe not".

Everything else seemed fine? Your pic is fine, all your likes and dislikes seemed decent enough, even the sex bit wasn't crude.

You might want to ditch sex from likes/dislikes if you're seeking to get more replies - It could alienate some women, thinking that's what you're solely after (even though you do say otherwise).

That could be where i'm going wrong. Confused

Well i always thought "weird" but that seems to be the "norm" nowadays so maybe it's US that are weird? Check these as well....

http://www.myspace.com/billynohair (i actually have a female buddy on here although nothing more will develop)

Most people i know can't understand why i never seem to attract any females. There's gotta be something about me. Maybe it's my extremely large penis?! lol

Honestly dude? I think that the username might not be doing you any favours, it sounds a bit desperate. Maybe the lady doesn't feel special because it seems that you are looking for a relationship and anyone (within reason) will do. Perhaps a little more initial mystery would help, rather than being so immediately open about your intentions.

I'm not expressing my point well here as it's late and I'm tired, I sincerely hope I haven't offended you though because you seem like a good bloke.

I could agree with e2 on the username choice actually. It's potentially a pothole before they've even considered looking at your profile.

We could be looking at this too deep? We're no nearer to finding out the exact ratio of men to women on this site, but you might just be unlucky and falling under the other piles of men.

Your myspace music pissed me off royally - I was chilling out to some nice relaxing music when your tune popped up.

Sorry dude, but that's a turnoff for anyone.

Then there's your name choice again. Fine, you're bald. Nobody really cares, until you start drawing attention to it.

But lose the music. Seriously.

No insults taken guys, i'm quite placid really. I have to agree that my username is too "in your face", however my usual "wotsisname" was unavailable.... lol

Strangely enough, i get more response from MySpace than any other site. To be fair i LIKE that music. Some profiles i visit are utter shite as i don't like *their * music. There's no way of satisfying everyone. MySpace is ME, surely it's better to be "myself" so that there are no surprises?

I guess my choices of username aren't the best but 9 times out of 10, anything half decent has already gone. Or maybe i'm actually quite depressed and haven't realised it? Surprised

You can be yourself. You can love your music.

But you really, really don't need any music to make an impact.

It says basically - this is what I like - i'll force it in your face.

I'm sure you love that music! But 99% of the time, your ideal match won't appreciate your tastes being blasted at them. They just like to read about you.
