in my experience it is just that person is in your mind constantly! every waking moment is about them. Every thought! every joy! every pain! A moment away from them is a lifetime! every breath you take, you take for them! But conversely you have to take that pain because they MUST be a compartment of your life! If they are ALL your life you will die without them! and when they go......................................................

Love is described in many ways, even science cannot describe it properly, they have shown its chemical reactions in the body, but no more than that.

Just coming out of a relationship of nearly 3 yrs i believed i loved her, and still feel for her. But its something hard to explain, and i believe its the best thing about humans, love can help us do amazing things.

As i'm haveing a "lazy day" I havent read the whole thread however, what gets to me are the people who think you can live life, and expect to have the whole "love at first sight" moment you see in films. In my opinion it's a silly thought as how do you know? when you haven't even spoken yet. it's nieve and annoying. Love is something between two people when they have a good time together and have with time, come to care for and think of each other as family, while sharing secrets and accepting each other, admittingly don't try sharing everything as you'd want to tell each other something new further down the line, but try to be honest with each other and care enough to do things you wouldn't do for anyone else. But it's also more than that, it's knowing each other intimately, so you can share thoughts with just a look or a touch. That is what I think love is.

I think lust is wanting to be with someone and do things with them whereas love is being prepared to do anything and risk everything to make it happen and last forever.
