As in the ‘What would you wear for a date?’ thread, you’re going to meet someone for a first date - just a normal daytime date, nothing fancy; mild weather, just going to meet up for a coffee/drink, maybe go for a walk, if things go well perhaps go somewhere informal for something to eat later.

The date is with someone that you’ve got some chemistry with (built up through emails, phone calls, etc). Let’s also assume that the date is fairly local.

So, do you take what you usually carry with you (wallet, handbag whatever, with the usual contents), or do you have some expectations of an ‘overnight’ and pack a few extras in your day bag that you wouldn’t usually carry around you on a day trip (condoms, toothbrush, mobile phone charger…….)

I have to admit that the vast majority of my dates have been long distance, and have involved at least a weekend away, so I have everything I need for a trip away from home. I’ve only had a couple of local dates, usually hasty last-minute planned ones, and just my usual stuff with me (a small bag with wallet, baccy, keys, phone, etc – reminds me, where’s that ‘what’s in your bag’ thread?).

I very rarely have long distance dates as I prefer to date local-ish people so normally just wallet, keys, phone, etc.

Dont know...its been so long since i went on an actual date Laughing . Seriously though, just the handbag filled with the usual stuff...purse, phone, camera, brush, lipstick, perfume and an extra pair of knickers cos you never know I might get lucky and need them in the morning Very Happy

Long distance...well being a woman I need lots of clothes for every occasion, some sexy undies, some nice heels, straightners, hairdryer, make up etc....just the usual stuff for a weekend away really

You manage to fit all that in your bag cazzabee? Looks liek no room for a certain phallic object in case he turns out to be not what you want and you have to spend the time in a hotel Smile
