If someone is looking for fun, it would mean to me that they are after a fuck buddy..

In my case, looking for fun = looking for someone to share company with as a friend, have a laugh, not be miserable about the mundane routine we have, but escape and enjoy company with someone fun and friendly once in a while.

Generally looking for fun on the internet usually is associated with someone wanting a shag etc

My personal way of thinking is that looking for fun should really be someone you can have a laugh with, as in go out maybe get lost some where are have a joke around.

My God! No wonder I'm getting crossed wires!!!!!and a fair few funny messages....... I just thought * fun * was having a great time with whatever you were doing. Embarassed ........ and of course we would all know then that Rolling Eyes *filthy fun* is just getting covered in paint, grease, oil, mud ...............etc. ha! ha!

I like your version of filthy fun as much as the guys version Myriad I love decorating and clearing up a mess of some sort with a fun loving partner. Might not get the job done, but boy is it fun Wink

Ladies..

If the above is "true", so how do you feel is the best way to convey that you are wanting to have "fun" times, without people thinking you want steamboat willie to visit the great hair Aquarium ? Confused

the term 'looking for fun should be labled as 'looking for alternative fun... '

then the less crossed wires etc..

could always try typing that in the box on profile where you describe yourself...or just not tick 'fun' in what you are looking for...

but to be honest, by what i know of some men you could be mother Teresa and be pure as the driven snow, but woman will still get the msgs..'get them out on cam' or 'fancy a bit of hows your father'..think that many men can't read..lol

I just took it to mean a bit of one off, xxx rated fun. Didn't think it meant FB.

Although I do think that should be one of the tickable boxes, so that its plain what everybody wants.

I don't agree with that - fun could mean going out and having a laugh, going to a pub as friends or in common leisure activity
