Its all about self-love and self-worth not Vanity and Arrogance, thats just bravado engaged in people who love themselfs too little and are trying to cover it up

I think if you belive you have to be different to be loved causes alot of misery. You have to be happy with in and loving yourself unconditionally makes me alot happyer

I'm the same. And for someone to tell me I look ok rather than putting me down all the time would be nice, especially when I try to look good.

My two ex's were the same, they wouldn't say anything nice about me. One was always pointing out that I was "slightly" overweight.

I do have confidence problems, and it's affected me a lot in the past with guys.

It's quite typical of a bloke to say that, though.

If I had to base things on looks, I'd say I'd rather not have a skinny, annorexic girl.

I'm a 16-18, but most people wouldnt say that of me when they see me in the flesh. So posting it on a site like this people just automatically assume youre HUGE!

Its funny what different peoples perceptions are... but at the end of the day they are just perceptions!

Yeah, people forget that your height can play a part in it...

I simply don't mention my weight or any sizes to people.

lol indeed.

One thing i found funny in 2 of the few dates i have been on, after talking to a guy online we get to the decribing bit and me being honest said im a curvy size 16. so genrally i find they go quiet. obviously trying to work out what that looks like lol so needless to say come the time i meet them for a date they look a bit shocked when the actually see me. i remember one guy actually had the balls to turn around and say wow when you said you were a size 16 i was expecting big mo to turn up lol needless to say 45 mins later i was home again

Some people are just idiots. I mean, i've just gone from a size 16 to a 12(because i wasn't happy), and when i met some guy, he said i was 'too small for my height' because i'm 5'8/9. So i've given up.
