"The Money attribute"

This is COLD but I think true for many (not all)

A guy/girl could have every attribute that a she/he could want but if they can;t afford to take their date out (especially on a 1st date), he/she generally do not stand a chance in a relationship long term or otherwise.

I think we all like our creature comforts but much more importantly we all need to feel special and in the world we live in (especially in the uk) this usually has a monetary value attached to it.
The old argument that if you love someone you should be willing to spend lots of money on them is (excuse this) complete bollocks, for me if you love someone and they love you the amount of money you spend on your them should have no relavance.

This applies to me as I cant generalise for all, but my idea of a 1st date is to make a favorable impression ie a meal at a restaraunt for example, good food and conversation, get to know each other better etc.
I suspect a big mac and fries would give the impression of "he was tight fisted, could'nt even be asked to buy me a decent meal" after the "date" is over, even if the conversation was good.

Now I Know lol that alot of you will immediatly argue against that, but ponder about it and what else I have said for a few minutes at least and I will look forward to seeing your replies (for and against)

Most women are searching for full-on hard passionate love, risk, adventure & the feeling of 'togetherness', mixed with warmth, affection & understanding,... a man seasoned with charm, experience and knowledeg of all a woman NEEDS for as long as she needs it, a handsome roughness but not a god,....

Yet, and yet,... they settle for someone with a heavy bank account, and who is secure enough to have her children,... later hankering after what she threw away during her youths vibrancy.

Ho - hum from the guy who made the T-shirt & the video !!!

Have any women actually posted in this thread yet? It doesn't sound like it.

To be honest yes personality is important - but in my experience most women like a challenge. A guy that is not clingy or tries to hard, they like a bit of bad boy something thrilling.
I tend to like someone if they are sweet and caring but that ultimately is no fun after a while - I like to be kept on my toes.

Hope this helps xx

I'm not attracted to men 'set in their ways' What I do like, the zest for life that more young men have and most older men seem to have lost and I've still got that, so I love being with people who have ideas, creativity and excitement about what they do or want to do.I love it when somebody has written a new song or been practicing something that they want me to listen to or read (if they're a writer)I love people who have the capacity to inspire others with what they do,it doesn't even have to be on a grand scale as the simple things can still be wonderful.
I like men who are spiritual, sensitive, caring, thoughtful, generous of character and have interesting personalities. I like men who want me, not need me so it's important that they are independent and feel complete within themselves..... any more??

...I agree, a lot of women look for a man with a herbal supplement to treat impotence - it's a well documented turn-on
