[I've done some research in the profiles and this is what I've concluded. Add in any i've missed.]

Females are looking for someone special to love them for themselves.
This is a soul mate, who will kiss and hug them and who’ll also love their kids (No, No, not that way, Father Ped!), or their dog, or their cat, or their stick-insects.
He’s got to be into long term relationships i.e. not looking for one-night stands… Not even one-week stands!
(Unless, of course, the magic is there… Or the booze! )
He’s NOT someone after one thing (here, now, it can get confusing, since most don’t say what the one thing is! And it might be different from one person to another.).
Or after cyber love (is that part of the one thing? or is a whole other thing?).
He knows when to give them space and slow things down.
But he also knows when to be close and speed things up.
(I’m assuming there are flags or semaphores involved here! )
He must have a good sense of humour: can laugh at himself, or can laugh at nothing at all.
(But not enough of the latter to need a straight-jacket!)
He should be intelligent, nice looking (a few insisted on handsome), preferably living nearby, easy-going, tall, and who can give massage.
He must not be depressed or unhappy, or with drugs or a drink problem.
He must be kind, honest, trustworthy, dedicated, spontaneous, sensitive, and confident and (ideally) a veritable love god.
He would like going out or staying in…
(But not, somehow, be indecisive! )
He would be someone who won’t beat them up or mess them about.
He’d be their best friend and share their DVDs, their love of film, their records, their music/opera/ballet, their books, their football team, their wine and – when they’d done all that - feed them Quavers.
He’d have to be healthy and fit enough to also share their walking, swimming, running, cycling, rock-climbing, horse-riding, etc.
Having done all that he’d ‘light their fire’.
I figure he’d be totally bleedin’ knackered, but – just in case he’s not – I DO know what he’d need for that last bit!

I think really girls love a bad guy- hence my bad track record! If a man isn't sensitive he is a dick, if he is he is called sissy. Women are unbelievable- I should know I am one.

Personally, I like guys who are different. In any way, shape or form. I love tattoos on men- so insaney sexy and masculine. However it all depends on an individual person- that spark you just can't quite put your finger on. The little things that they do. It all helps.
