I was unsure as to whether or not to post on this area of the boards, but then I considered -heck the most ample place to post a hell on a dating site is on the area marked as 'Dating'-.

So as you may or may not have guessed, I'm hopelessly new to flirtbox, and this is my first time posting too.

Oh, and as my first question on Flirtbox -how do I put a picture as my avatar?

In 'manage pictures' under the 'my flirtbox' tab, click '.net' under your picture to make it your avatar. You can drag and drop a picture into 1st place to make it the main pic on your profile.

Er, you're wearing a mask in the (also very distant) photo you're asking people to judge your attractiveness on! Put some clear head and shoulders pics up with your eyes and smile visible.

Have to agree with Steve. Can't judge your avatar unless we can see a face and a reasonable close up.

I'd suggest you take a peek at some of the posts like http://www.flirtbox.net/dating/what-puts-you-off-about-a-persons-profile-.html

That will give you an idea of what people look for in the profile and the related pictures. You'll find long distance shots and masks tend to put people off.

I think i am probably a bit to old to be saying this but from your picture yes you do look a lovely young lady!

I concur with the other gents in the opinion that some close up photo's would be advantageous!
