How long should you wait when you are at the msn stage to make that first phone call/ask for their number?

don`t ASK her for her number, TELL her to give you her number! i`ve found that works more than asking.

"Gimmie your number, i know this great place your love it" 9 times out of 10 she`ll give you her number out of a kinda natural responce then have 2nd thoughts later on, but hey you got the number now anyway, if you know your gonna see her again in the same bar or wherever a week later then DON`T phone her, next time your out she`ll see you and just come up to YOU this time "how come you didn`t phone me" etc, make up some excuse appologise and arrange to go out, she might even ask YOU "so when we going out then" lol they want a challenge, keep em keen.
not sure how to turn that into something to use online haha coz its so different than being face to face.
prob gonna get all sorts of posts now lol, oh well

id be inclined to let them start that part of the stage myself. Don't know if its a good idea or not, i haven't been on the internet long enough to see if it works or not. But my gut would be to wait.

i would usally go for the phone number if we been having a good laugh and really getting on, like ladytrace says - you know when.

thing is in real life you could get a number within the night out, on ere it could take months lol

Mind you if you were out and you got a number......the first thing most do is start to text...... not unlike being on line really.... then it progresses to the PHONE CALL..... etc etc
