I have been toying with the idea of getting my childrens names tattoed on the inside of my wrists, someone told me its really painful there ????? is this true, not scared of a bit of pain, but can anyone describe the feeling ???? xxx

annmarie, the tattooist i went to for both of mine said that this is the sort of idea he tells people; the bonier the area the more it will hurt, i dont know if that is true or not but it was for me and also if you think about it that is true for a lot of things, like if u bash yourself a padded area feels pain less than a bony area

I have a large-ish tattoo on the top of my right arm and I can tell you the Ladies really.............hate it lol. Smile

Prehaps I shouldnt have gotten a tattoo of Venom (If you dont know what Venom is......well sigh embarassment......he is Spidermans arch-enemy and basicly and evil dark version of spiderman.

Still I dont regret it because the tattoo was for me not as a way of pulling ladies lol. Smile

Just thought I would revive this post & share my newest tat which I had in October, early xmas pressie, designed by myself & family. 2 hours of niggly pain but well worth it Very Happy

Also have 3 more of which need revamping or changing at some point, I do love tats on men but not too many. Smile

Thanks Bex ur never too old, I was late 30s when I got my first one, just design something personal to yourself with a meaning behind it.

Mine has my families initials entwinned in the ribbons (although not obvious) heart in the middle for the love from them to me & the celtic symbol for the Cornish link.

A lot of thought went into this as it will be with me forever, so make sure you think very hard before you do it, but I say GO FOR IT!! Very Happy

Hi there am new to all this so go easy with me!! Rolling Eyes
Just saw your tat and think it's cool! Biggest thing is that it has meaning for you and will be something therefore you would never regret. I had something done too on the top of my left arm a symbol of love life and loyalty, thought the pain was not too bad at all just like a hot needle scraping the top of the skin, that was my first and plan for another on the top of the right arm to balance out, any suggestions but needs to have a meaning.
Think tats on ladies look great where your is!

This is my new one, it was designed by our very own Shazzy (I picked the colours )

I went through 8 hours of sitting still for this (in 2 sessions)

So I hope you appreciate it Smile

Watch this space for our next project Very Happy
