Bliss..... I did the "saint" on my mates hand.... between forefinger and thumb.... still there to this day LOL.
I soooo wouldn't pay to have that done when it can be done so easily at home!

teach me how?
Though I don't think I could manage to do it all by myself hence the place.

I love 'em. Just the one for me so far...
Another two planned for this year. The design for my first is finished, which is a big quetzalcoatl on my back (shoulder to shoulder, neck to ass). My second is something special in Egyptian heiroglyphs on my arm.

To my mind 99% of tattoos look like utter cack. They're mainly not thought through and are thoroughly unoriginal.
I have seen a very few fantastic tattoos that were designed by the people who decided to have it indelibly marked on their skin.
I have a particular hatred of 'tramp stamps'/'slag antlers' on women, especially with their kids names written on them, or the fact they've had to have them over-inked with the next boyfriends name, luckily Daz, Gaz and Baz are only one letter to replace. Nothing quite as off putting as seeing an overweight arse with a thong pulled up past where trousers were meant to live and the proclaiming of "CHEZZA AND BAZ 4EVA" lovingly inked into their stretchmarks. Mmmm SEXY, I think not.

There are a whole lot of tats that are god awful. Some people look like they have been drawn on by a pissed up mate having a laugh.
I hate myself for being so shallow but a beautiful man's body with a beautiful tat on still gets me...by beautiful I do not mean bulging muscles. I mean toned and tanned with lovely soft skin.
I will not have a tat as I am starting to feel more unique every year by not having one, especially in my group of friends.

I wanted one when I was about 17 and a tattooist told me, "draw it on every day with biro, if you let it wear out then you never wanted a tattoo."
He was right. I am really pleased that I don't have any. It's nice to be the odd one out.
I do like some tattoos on some people, I'm not against them at all. Just the thoughtlessness.

I too wanted one at 16 and I am glad I did not bother. I just don't want to be marked or than scars.

Agreed, so why pull your trousers down and your thong right UP to create a 'framework' to show us the tramp stamp? Hmmmmmmmm.
It's not as if you can see it unless you have an owl's head.
I don't mean you Chikhai, I am sure you're far too classy to dress like that.

Yeah, there are a lot of people who tattoo themselves for others, but then we'd run out of space if we tried to list every single stupid thing stupid people do for others.
I've just booked myself in to get my first tattoo, because i've wanted it since i was a little kiddy. Its a tribal design, ok, so its not particularly unique, there are millions of people out there who have similar designs.
But! I'm getting it done with a Kirituhi slant because its partially to celebrate the bit of maouri blood i have, and that's going to make it at least semi unique. Mainly i'm getting it done to mark an incredibly important occasion for me, and even though im gonna get huge complaints from my parents and a few of the peeps I work for, i'm still going ahead with it.
Meh, anyway, i'll post piccies when its finished
