Ah Samatron, to be totally honest I wasn't at all 'into' those guys, you know? At the time of posting I was just a bit puzzled why they both simply vanished after meeting. It just seemed a weird thing to do, whether on not you are 'into' someone, just having met a person I thought it would be 'the polite thing to do' to at least touch base albeit briefly after meeting. At least to have the balls to write "I'm not 'into' you and I'm not looking to meet new 'just friends' - ciao" kind of thing, cuz that's what I would have done.
It don't matter now, time has marched on and my confidence is back with a vengeance!

I guess it's just socially awkward to meet someone and tell them face to face that it's not a good idea to meet again. Way more easier to say, 'great time' and then disappear.
Muscleman Rob's brutal honesty is way better and direct, but I must admit, I've done the 'great time then disappear' act, and I've had it done to me.

Ha! I guess I am just one of the Brutally Honest Brigade then.
I do see how its easier on oneself to just vanish, but surely a text to say thanks but ciao is nearly as comfy and safe?
But then I'm very green in the dating game/meeting new people in all honesty and had never had someone simply vanish like that before.
Both times my immediate thoughts were "Did he have an accident and die on the way home from meeting me?" til I realised they were still using this site and received my messages.
The biggest problem for me was gauging when to stop contacting them for fear of acting like a stalker! (I stopped at one message).
Ho hum. T'is life and I'm still learning!
