This is the same old problem I think.

I don't use the main site so much, but if you want to find a great way to connect with new people, then these forums are the way to go to break the ice......

My profile is 100% honest. I would hate to be a shock on a first meeting because I'd lied and couldn't live up to someon's expectation. What's the point? If you aren't how you describe yourself, then that's deceptive, so trust is out of the window at square one.
Having said that, I know there are fake profiles 'cos I've been misled on a few.

As Mirropool, i am a very honest person, too honest at times Have sort of given up with the dating side myself, due to alot of men as are women i am sure, not being genuine. Why join a dating site just to so you can tease people or even worse what has happened to Mirrorpool. I know there are some genuine people out there, but i have only ever met one ...... Having said that i have met some great people om here, friends for life you could say, which is more important than listening to some loon telling me how great i am only to find out they are married or want phone sex ......

Well I haven't been on here all that long and at first I was very put off by the messages I was getting. I knew there would be that sort of thing but I wasn't prepared for just how much of it there was. Maybe it's cus I haven't been on that many sites like this, I don't know. I know what men are like, hell yes, and I kinda alreday knew before joining that the chances of meeting someone on here are quite slim. Though what I will say is that I met my ex online, allbeit a totally differnt site to this (not a dating or flirt site) and also I have recently met up with someone off of here, even though I don't think there is any chance of anything happening like that, it proves it's not all time wasters! Though I'm not interested in the main site on here that much now, I like these forums though...
