Hi all, ive been using some of these sights for about a year now and think i have only really chatted to 2 guys that dont just want to cyber! But i am one of these people that try and think not all of them are the same, am i wrong? Am eager to be proved wrong.
So what do they really want??

Being a gentleman (after a fashion), I shall reply anyway. Speaking for myself, I don’t want cyber (I want the real thing ).

I think you need to ask yourself what you want, and then find someone who fulfils the criteria, rather than asking what 'men' want. Contrary to belief, ‘men’ (like women) can’t all be tarred with the same brush. If you really want to find out what ‘men’ want, you need to ask them individually – and if some of them say they want cyber, well, at least you got your answer from the person concerned.

I don't expect anything really. A reply to one of my silly questions or comments would be nice but i know those are few and far between so i just come here to the forums and mingle instead. I share DH's opinion in that i don't want cyber but prefer the real thing.

I truly believe you get what you pay for in this world ............... and as this is a free site, there will be alot of people, both men and women just after a bit of 'extra curricula' fun that is .................. obviously there are exceptions to the rule .......... but as has been said before, there are alot of 'window shoppers' on free dating sites. I agree with the lovely Stuart though, if you know all they want is 'cyber' then move on to the next ........... or maybe go on to a site that you have to pay for ..... might be more successful there ..........

I'm probably not the best person to answer this one, but freedom of speech and all that....

What I want, I suppose is entertainment, that comes in all shapes and sizes, (especially for me). I don't think you can really expect too great a things from one of these sites, that way you are never disappointed, and quite often pleased with the results.
As for the cyber-sex thing, not really sure what the benefits are of that (finger excercise?).

In response to your first question, the guys who are relatively normal and nice on this site are very quick to become disenfranchised. Their relatively genuwine enquiries are swiftly met with distain due to the "tarnishing" which goes on. This leaves only the tossers who don't understand the phrase "I don't want cyber" left to mull around.

Although, I will say this... it's not just the guys who are cyber freaks. I've had the odd experience with sweet looking girls who, when I've messaged them, they've come back with some filth that, believe it or not, I'm not up for entertaining! I stress, this is a rarity!

I've kinda discovered this forum bit as a place where all the nice people hang out.

i don't want sex at all, i'm just here cos i wanna talk to nice people, plus i find it hard to meet new people anyway, so that's another reason.

All the nice people are here, thats true. I spend more time here now than on the dating site as I dont know whos genuine or not anymore, not sure what guys do want on there to be honest, it sure aint what i'm looking for but someone may prove me wrong one??.........
