hey 14/16 is not big sweetie! You are about average! i'm 18-20 and most guys i have had msg me like bigger curvier women. If you are wearing a smile honey, then how you look to a guy will not be important. its personality and charisma that makes a person, and if they are more interested in your dress size, they really aint worth bothering with. bodies are just the wrapper of the soul. Good luck honey and i hope you find a nice guy who sees you for who you are.

I'm a size 18-20 too. I get far more comments about my smile. Smile, give the appearance of being fairly confident, and most will barely notice the size.

Hey everyone, a newbie here!

I'm 24/f and new to these dating sites. I'm just wondering and, be honest here, does size affect you getting interest on this site or others?

Yes

Care to elaborate?...

I don't think size affects it at all. I know girls bigger than you, and they always seem to have boyfriends. I think you look rather nice the way you are.

I would hope most people look at the inner person and there personality. But even if they did look at size then 14/16 is nothin Very Happy

I'm a porker. It makes the world of difference.

Looks get you a foot in the door. No foot in the door and it doesn't matter how charming you are - you're screwed.

Sad but true.

When it comes to approaching/being approached, body language and how you carry your weight makes all the difference.

Personally, I'm all for curves, but I'm never going to approach someone who looks as if they're uncomfortable within themselves.

Because I'm a size 14/16, weighing 12 stone, and I'm worried this might be a problem. Blokes, is this something that would bother you? Girls, has this held you back at all? Be honest, I want to know before I go into this blind.

Any advice appreiciated

Well, I am usually not interested in anyone who is bigger or taller than me. Of course this is with a pinch of salt. I have dated bigger and taller but not by much.

One of my first proper girlfriends liked to fall asleep in front of the telly and I would always pick her up and carry her into the bedroom. That kinda became a norm - it felt so manly being able to carry your gf.

I couldnt date anyone shorter than me, coz im a bloody midgit..i like tall blokes, i think them being bigger makes me feel more feminine...but i dont mind who have a bit of weight on them, although not obese
