Hi yeh, how is everyone?
You know I never used to have a complex about my height, but I'm growing one pretty tall now. I'm 5'7" AND A HALF. In metric it sounds taller - 172cm. I always thought that was kind of average, but my last girlfriend always thought I was a bit too short. She was only 5'3" ffs! Even with her high-heels on she was a bit shorter than me. Recently back in the single life again, I have been on some of the free dating sites and I am constantly reading about not particularly tall birds wanting tall blokes. It's an effin prejudice against short-arsed cnuts like myself!! Height isn't something I can do anything about! If it was weight, I could eat less and exercise more, but you go mentioning anything like 'I don't want a bird with a fat arse' and you'd get shot to pieces!
I think this complex has got so that now I don't want a girlfriend who is taller than me! You could have the looks of Kate Beckinsale, but measure up over 172cm and I won't want to know. Call me shallow eh. I know they say that height doesn't matter when you're lying down, but that isn't taking into account the boiling resentment of being thought of as 'too short' and having to walk on the curb while she struts in her heels at road level and tip-toeing for a kiss and being patted on the head by her and by being called 'cute' and and...
Anyway, that was all a bit of a joke, but does height matter to you ladies?

I have dated guys the same height as me, and a tiny bit shorter. I'm somewhere between 5ft 7 and 5ft 8. So no, height doesn't matter to me.

I prefer a guy to be taller than me, but as I'm only 5'2" that's no problem, but I can't believe how the majority of guys who message me are over 6' one guy was even 6'7"
In my teens I had a couple of close friends who were over 6' so I'm used to tall people around me. I don't actually think a lot about height and certainly don't think it'd be an issue in a choice of partner.

i think most girls say they prefer taller men but 5ft 7 is normal so i wouldnt worry. if height is that much of an issue for a woman that 5ft 7 is inadequate then she's not worth it.

It is true some studies suggest woman prefer taller men.
The BBC (known for it's bastardisation of scientific research) have an article about it.

Strangely, woman of several centuries ago preferred men who are not only taller but also weighed more.
This could be due to the knowledge that fatter men were richer and more powerful men.
On the subject of height, if it is an issue then you must search for someone who does not fit in to the statistical category.
Personally I prefer taller woman. I could speculate on why but merely knowing of it is satisfactory for me.

I am 5ft10 and seem to get alot of messages from men who are like 5ft1-4 I don't know why this is, I do like a man to be taller which is obviously a little harder for me but anything over 5ft8 will do!

To be honest, I like all you ladies in all of your shapes and sizes - variety makes the world go round. That said, I prefer small petite women that I can actaully carry on my shoulders at festivals
