Being Scottish I would go up to a fine lady and ask her if she wanted to buy me a drink
Failing that I would try and make eye contact and smile if she did'nt run screaming to bouncers(has been known to happen...joking)I would just go and start talking like is'nt it dark in here and other intelictual items If this helps you get back in touch and then I'll try them

I find eye contact and smiling works for me..... (sometimes!!)

If there's a guy I find attractive say, standing at the bar, I might walk past him to get to the ladies (providing it was in that sort of direction I must add - I don't just wander around and about a few tables like I'm directionally challenged! ) and give him a little smile on my way past! If he smiles back then I smile again (with teeth!) on my way back from the ladies!!!

(ha ha, I'm laughing at myself typing this!! )

Then sometimes, said attractive gent might have been given enough "come on" to come over and chat!

No wonder Im single. It did work once though. The lady in question pulled out these cracking pair of jugs....she worked for royal doulton and I was so over whelmed by the quility of the glaze I had to have them.
