I'm a first time poster here, so go easy on me
(Although joined Flirtbox a while back, only just getting around to actively using the site).

What are people's views of using free dating sites like Flirtbox, compared with the paid dating sites?

Through dating via some of the mainstream paid dating sites I've had mostly positive dating experiences, including some relationships.

Since I'm new to the free dating site world, I'd be interested to hear comments comparing the free vs. paid dating sites.

Hello animalisticheart My experience of paid sites isn't very good, although I guess some are better than others.

My main complaint is that you can't tell until you've paid up just how many people are actually using the site that live within a 50 mile radius (for example) Also, I had lots of problems on one site where I ended up with 2 profiles, one that I could access and the other I couldn't yet everything was going to the 'expired unpaid account' and despite many messages and replies of what would be done, it never got sorted.

I like flirtbox and think that it's advertising is less invasive than most other free sites. It works for me.
