To be honest here, i would never actually ask the question! nor would i put it up for discussion at anytime, either on a date or throughout a relationship. And the thought of someone else judging me on my sexual activity, past, present or in the future sends out all the wrong signals to me!

This is something that I do like to know when I date. I need to know the guy has a healthy attitude to sex and I need to know he can 'do' relationships.
Considering I am a lot older than you I would think anything between 10 and 100 would be ok for sexual encounters (who's counting by the time you get to your 40's anyway!!?) and more importantly I would like to hear he has had at least one long term relationship preferably 2 or 3 so by the time he gets to me so that he has learnt from his mistakes and will be really good at it!! Just one would be bad. He probably still assumes it is the other persons fault it all went wrong and will continue to conduct his second relationship in exactly the same way.

Thres no point worrying about the number, its all firmly in the past.
I personally have actually kept a list, so I know exactly how many.... I have to say I surprised myself!!!!

I have a list in the back of my diary. My friends don't even know about the list. Nor do they know how many people i've had sex with.
