I feel kind of the opposite to a lot of people on here; I don't see the point in chatting away to someone online for ages only to find out, when you finally see their pic, that you don't fancy them *at all*. This is a dating site, after all; OK if I was looking for a penpal I wouldn't care what they look like but I'm not, I'm looking for a boyfriend. Obviously personality is crucial but I think anyone who says looks don't matter is being disingenuous, as best. How long's your relationship going to last if you're not attracted to the other person?!

I don't much like the idea of people I know seeing my photo online, but it has to be done for the reasons above. I've chatted to people online before when I was 'pictureless' and it's quite gutting so send a guy your photo and have him immediately cease contact! Would rather show myself from the start.

Sometimes you look worse on photos than you do in person. I've always hated photos. Perhaps they're just here to chat...
