From my point of view if I was just on here looking for a marry then I would need to see a picture of the person... I would need to fancy them physically, I wouldnt be interested in talking to them much!
Thats just an example, where as those people on here looking for relationships or just friends will probably not need to see a pic but get to know the person first.
I've used this site and similar sites for all of the above at some point... at the end of the it just depends what you are here for and your perspective on how you go about acheiving that.

Guys have the same problem, on all the boards i use I select view profiles with pictures only, no picture and not going to waster time viewing them

A pic does say a lot but i dont feel comfortable having my picture on public profile as who knows waht someone will do with it, its an evil world out there
but i dont have any problems in sending a pic if theyve liked my profile (which partly exuberates my personality) which is what they should be interested in first ? (not that im ugly or insecure)

Hey,
I'm 23 but have been working in London and living on with flat mates for four years, you grow up soooo quickly living this life. I feel old and i'm only 23! I sometimes prefer the younger type because I suppose it reminds me that I'm not actually as old as I feel.
