The OP's problem is that he hasn't figured out that it's easier, (physically and financially) to enter this country illegally and remain indefinitely than it is to do it in a legal way.

Asylum seekers are meant to find refuge in the first 'safe' country they get to, yet the vast vast vast majority of illegal immigrants in this country are from Asia and Africa, and then when we catch them hiding in trucks they get treated extremely fairly and are sent back to france to try it again the next day.
It's pathetic, if we want to put these illegals off coming into our country then we should treat them like dirt and put them off ever attempting it again.

Well 4 and half hours flying time to the Uk!
France dont let them stay nor give them housing, hence why they keep going to Calais and being escorted back to their camp.
