How do i meet someone in this city. Been to wine bars etc but when you're a bloke on your own there are hardly any females on their own or who do not have a boyfriend etc.
Its so boring and I am getting desperate for some company, chat, flirt, drinkup, clubbing, movies anything. Resorted to even having a chat with girls in da bustop! - crazy
New in town and know no one apart from work colleagues

hey,i was in your situation last year when i finsihed uni and moved back to my mums down south but i am a northern girl so i knew no one, mum had met some people who had sons and daughters my age so i met a few people but never really got anywhere so ended up moving back north to stay with my dad
anyhoo
on here there are people from your neck of the woods and also if you look on the main list of all the forum rooms there are regional forums. i dont know how active they are but maybe jump onto one of those and introduce yourself see if there are any meet ups going on or anything ... everyone on here is friendly enough so just to get u along start posting on here and u may come across some ideas for helping your social life along the way. Hav eyou thought about joining an evening course or something to learn something new and meet people or take up a new sports class in the evenings, something you normally wouldnt try ... im think ing of this when my leg is mended and really want to do archery so something like that may be a thought, try something you really normally wouldnt and meet people that way
hope its better for you soon! ![]()
