I'm not quite sure what this shagging is that everyone is talking about, but I assume it is some disgusting sexual act that humans perform when they are too lazy to watch porn and masturbate.

just a shag hmmm.. that thinking has gotten me into a hell of allot of trouble and a couple of bad relationships..
If I wanted shag I would go to liquid on a friday night flash the cash and be home with some slapper and have an appointment down the gum clinic on wed..
me I just want a nice sane woman with the possibility of settling down kids house car you know the usual..

Sure I'm a young(ish) guy, but when it comes to looking for a partner the last thing on my mind is sex. For me, it's all about the personality - if I can't get on with someone, what does it matter about bedroom activity? I prefer the quiet moments of intimacy, just hugging and appreciating each other's company, the ability to have a chat or even a good natured debate about things, and of course a bit of a laugh.

I think Vossler summed it up better than I ever could. Of course the question of sex will inevitably come up, but it is more than just the physical gratification of the act that sustain me, it also creates an emotional bond so it would have to be with a person you wish to share everything with, to strengthen that bond.

On the other hand, men who are just looking for sex at the moment are not necessarily shallow. I'm not long (6 months but it doesn't seem long) out of a relationship and I'm happy with my circle of friends (women friends included) and I get love and affection from my family and my kids -- what I'm really missing is shagging, plain and simple. That said I wouldn't do it with just anyone -- there has to be some kind of click first. And it doesn't mean that I'd disrespect her in bed or afterwards.

edit: I don't get the web cam sex thing -- I want to do it with a real live woman
