Guys can't meet girls, focus on the friendship/companionship side of things, and if that works out see what happens with sex. By the time that works through, the chemistry would have long since withered.

I've actually got a mate who married his school sweetheart and they've not only been married 17 years, but they've never consummated their marriage. Is that romantic? Let's face it, it's plain weird. Not only that, but the girl wants a divorce, now she's in her 30's.
I wouldn't bother with a serious relationship if I didn't fancy the pants off my partner and enjoyed shagging them!

The last time i had a date it was in '03 and she was a lovely woman. We stayed together for 6-7 months (before she finally lost the plot and said i was a cheat, but she couln't prove any thing).
I dont understand the term 'dating' as its an American thing, and i haven't had a date in that length of time, yes it is a long time.
I dont agree with the cyber sex thing either as it is for saddo's but most people have it because it can lead up to meeting those people (it has happened because i have done it before, but only the once, i am honest ya see) and then when they meet they either love/ hate each other.
But dating to me has yet to show its colours as i haven't had a date in years, i dont know why, i mean i'm not the ugliest guy on the planet... theres many uglier than myself and women prefer those types where the hell am i going wrong????

I don't necessarily disagree with everything you've said, but I know and have known, plenty of men who don't jump into bed first, then make an emotional connection later. So I would totally disagree with your statement "guys can't meet girls.....chemistry long since withered". Some guys (as well as girls) actually the chemistry gets stronger the longer they anticipate the right moment, after becoming emotionally involved and a solid 'friendship' is formed.

Yes there are men out there who aren't just after a quick shag, myself included. I'd like in a girlfriend the ability to talk about stuff, connect on an everyday level as well as other stuff. If it's just sex and you have very little in common I find I get bored too easily. I like to get to know a person, rather than how good they are in bed.

Saying that though, eventually the topic of sex would be brought up, and I would if I felt comfortable enough with the person. Have been in relationships before where it got intimate fast, and they ended just as fast. Don't fancy going back to that, I want a relationship that can last.

in my opinion sex is a special thing not something to be passed out like the free gift in a box of cornflakes meet someone nice get to know them see how happy and physical on e can be then see where it goes come on here to solely find sex then you deserve the v.d you get.
