Home >> Dating >> Is it wrong for a woman to date someone younger than them

This is a really interesting thread!

I have dated younger men in the past but never to much younger (5/6 years or so).

The only thing I can say about it really is that I love the shared interests of youth ie 'do you remember the new romatic frilly shirts' and if someone is too young then I cannot enjoy that.

A bit late to answer this I should think, but would much rather embrace the person behind the youth Wink Embarassed

Theyn say the course of true love knows not age or wisdom, but i think it's about being content and secure in another person's company, and i don't think age has anything to do with it

No it isn't wrong for a man to want to go out with an older woman or indeed for a woman to seek out younger men! I have to admit I'm young for my age and prefer men a few years younger and don't want men more than 5 years older than me!
I say go for it!

Completly agree with you mental age is more important than physical age.!!!! I have a very young mum and she's more like my older sister which I think is really good as were really close. As for relationships your only as old as the person your with not matter what age that might be!!! I'm seeing a guy and he's 18 but has the conversation skills of a 30 year old!!!

Well, I confess..... I have never dated a man younger than me! However, never say never and I'll try anything once!

So, any offers for first go! Laughing
