I think littlevixen your story says no things have not changed - my aunt is 68 and uncle 90 - they've been together since she was 18. There was never any disapproval from either family at the time, from what I've gleaned.
And currently my eldest lad who is 19 - he has a 19 yrs old girlfriend but admitted to me the other day that he's got the hots for a lady he knows, and she's 41 - my age!! (said older lady isn't really aware he exists, bless him).
So no, I dont things have changed with time, nor I suppose have attitudes much.

Why would it be wrong?

Well blimey why shouldn't samenoname re-start an old thread?
He's new here, if an old thread (which is new to samenoname) is interesting to him, why not post on it?
These forums aren't just here for The Regulars - they are for everybody.
When I get bored of current topics, I peruse the old ones and if I find one that interests me I post on it.
That's what they are here for.

Just wanted to say that I thought the threads were a good mix today because there were quite a few old ones revived.
There must be so many new folk with fresh perspectives on old issues or sometimes with different experiences people who have previously posted may have completely opposite views 6r new advice. Laughing

There is more than enough current stuff to be chatting about... if your bored then why not start some new ones?

Age is just a number. As long as both people want the same thing, it doesn't matter.
