While I prefer my guys to be at least a *little* taller than me, its been a challenge since I'm 5'6". My ex boyfriend was 5'6" and it was just perfect. Most of my female friends are about my height and though some of them have tall S.O.'s, most have boyfriends in the 5'6"-5'9" range.

In the past I have dated men who were shorter than me. I once dated a guy who was 3 inches shorter than I was, and I thought it was cute. We only broke up because he was insecure about being shorter than me and threw a hissy-fit about me wearing shoes with thick soles. One thing he learned from our relationship is that you DON'T give women shoe-related ultimatums unless you have a strong yearnign for the single life.

Does this mean i'm tall at 5'11??

I don't see what the issue is. Height, like looks, only play a minor role in what makes a relationship work ... or am i just stupid?

I prefer a woman to be slighty shorter, as I just prefer it for like kissing and that, but I'd date taller women. im 5'9 / 5'10 BTW

i would say to 99% of people high is not that important, my last girl friend was 5f2 and the 1 before her was about 5f8, im about 5f10.

i did know 1 girl who was about 5f9 and would not date anyone under 6f.. which i thought was kinda stupid but its her choice.

my ex was 6ft 4in and i liked that as im only 5ft 5in but the next guy i met was the same size as me and i found it a bit weird. I quite like guys to be taller than me. Suppose thats shallow? Im not sure!

Well am 5'7 I dated taller and petite women. it does not matter if our personality and passion match and she has small feet, that is great, and we lasted few years, I am not one night stand man I prefer long term relation.
