I decided a few days ago what I really want is a 'male companion' like old widows have.

Someone to drive me to the seaside and have fish and chips with. But I want him to be rich enough to not need my money (a common historical facter in my dating life), hansom enough to make my heart slightly flutter and cool enough to not be like a jack russel trying to dry hump my leg at any opportunity.

I think I will have to go to a tea dance to find myself a man....

- A companion would be good! That's a start. Yeah its good if you both come at it from the same angle i.e. you both have a job/ok money, or are both broke! Well I think I could give a woman the fish and chips part. Making hearts flutter...that's more tricky but not impossible. As for dry humping, I was dry humped at a bbq recently by an annoying little dog called Spike! Mad True! So nah, wouldn't wanna be like that with a female companion!

I'm basically just here for the banter, to be honest... I've dated a couple of guys from this site... Two are now....friends Wink
And one fell off the face of the planet...nope, not my doing.
My last proper date from this site was a year ago... and I'm not really looking for anyone to date...although in sayin that, if a certain person was to bring me on a date...woohooo lol

Banter is great. I find I start reading and following all the threads and get interested in some of the witty banter. Then a few hours later I realise the time.... Cool

Good comment Scottie69. Someone can only go halfway to make a friendship/date, the other person has to go the other half. That's fun. One person doing all the chasing though is not healthy Rolling Eyes

That made me smile. Something like that would be cool. I'd not describe it like that, but a similar idea is contained within those words. If you see some nice ladies at the tea dances send them my way.

It's beginning to feel like this with my fellah Confused If I don't do the chasing, I get as little as a couple of hours notice sometimes! It's not enough and am I being needy if I want to see him for more than 24 hrs in a week?!! Mad

Hmm, I've been in a situation like that, it's tough. But if you like the person enough, you'll find an arrangement that suits you both

I like him enough, it just bugs me 'cos I'm worried I'll come across as needy if it's always me asking him. Plus as Scottie said, it's nice to feel wanted. I sometimes wonder if he'd be bothered if i stopped asking about meeting up Sad

I only registered a while ago and I already have 8 babies and 4 wives.
I'm warning you one thing can lead to another, so date people on this site at your own peril!

yes most the babies were extremily premature.
