I'd rather be single, happy and fussy than just settle for anyone so I can be in a relationship that's probably not good enough from not bothering to be fussy in the first place.
People seem to think it's something you must do and you don't at all.

Yes I agree. Relationships take a a lot of effort and I'm fat too lazy to invest that effort into something that I'm not going to be happy about. I suppose on the flip side I can argue that I will never know if I don't take a risk and try at some point...

I think with anything, you have to try before you buy, and if you don't go on lots of dates then you'd never know if that was the person for you. No one knows whats going to happen tomorrow so you have to live life for today and never turn down an opportunity cause everything could just pass you by.

Nice pic Cheekyeyes Very Happy

see to be honest...and maybe i'll edit this tomorrow when the pino grigo wears off...but I'd like to meet someonewho just wants to go out for dinner for a chat and a laugh.Lifes kinda tough and it would be nice to kick back and enjoy the good stuff with someone.I've got my kids, I've got my friends but I need something outta the ordinary.Something different but not something monotoneous. I dont think its that much to ask for?

Just so you dont have a chance to delete such pearls of wisdom Very Happy But defo agree, a night out and a good laugh would be wicked, and id probably enjoy it more without the inevitable date night self questions of "Did she like me?" "Shall I ask her out again?" and the all important "Am I gonna get laid tonight?" Razz

Yes. I'm here for a date, but theres a minefield of timewasters out there. The grand irony is that some of the ones not looking are some of the more promising candidates. Then you've got the women who obviously have them queueing up, so unless you're a looker or some sort of Don Juan you're pissing in the wind.

For me, theres no great rush at the moment as I've got a bit of a fling going on. The grey matter yearns for a bit of stimulation still, so I've got to keep my hand in. I've kinda backed off the search a little now and take a more passive approach (which ironically seems to be yielding better results than before).

Good luck to anyone using the site for which it was intended. You're gonna have an uphill struggle.

I'm probably way too picky Cheeky. That and I seem to pick the ones that are unattainable.
