I don't think you should pass judgement on someone you chat to and get on with on a strength of a photo. In my experience pictures do not show if you will be attracted to someone at all.

Its a shame that people, mainly women, can and do miss out on something good because of a photo. But as some women say to me, they are comfortable with missing out. Which seems odd to me.
