if you met someone off this site would you cancel your membership?

bearing in mind that you would lose your login to the forum as well..... would you leave us all behind if you got together with someone from here??

and if you met someone on here and they still kept their account open would you be jealous/suspicious/angry?

I wouldn't because of the friends I have made here.

I'd stay, but if it got serious with the girl I would obviously change my profile to make it clear I was taken and I guess I would expect the girl to do the same. Not a control freak just wouldn't like the idea of this girl "being with me" and advertising herself here at the same time.
I actually met someone on a dating site before and while we were together we would chat on the site and laugh at each others 'Inbox' messages

I wouldnt cancel and if the other person was a member too i wouldnt expect them too either. I aint the jealous type so it wouldnt worry me if they were still chatting to peeps they met on here.

Nah, i'd just do as MP has done, no need to go, this place aint JUST about dating etc, its a fun place to be (mostly) with some pretty decent people, and keeps me occupied while my boss isnt looking LOL

Eeerrrr nope! i would not cancel. If they had a problem with it which at the end of the day comes down to trust! then i am afraid they would be long gone up the road...... its all about TRUST!

and even although it's harmless banter, some folk can be a tad insecure, so depending on the person, I reckon that the best way to circumvent that - introduce them to the site if you think they'd enjoy it.

I enjoy the people on this forum, ye are generally a good laugh so id probably hang about. If i met up with someone i could change the profile i suppose, but i tend not to get messages anyway so why bother

my question was moot for me lol i aint gonna meet anyone from here any time soon.... but if i did....... you lot still wouldn't be rid of me lmaooooo
