(for straight guys)

you must not be aggressive, you must have a career, have a good pension, a big house.

you must have a gsoh but know when to be serious.

you must ask opinions, not survey.

you must value, appreciate and respect women no matter how they are or behave

you need to understand her feelings, be tender all the time..be calm, gentle and sensitive, yet tough, masculine and high status

you must be patient, marry someone who is the "appropriate age"

you must be outgoing, smile a lot, yet not be "nice"

you must like "talking" and you have to just want to "be friends" at first.

you must despise anything even remotely sensual and have a life of purgotary, servitude, silent treatment and passive aggression if you don't fit all these characteristics to the letter.

I am really sorry but I can not agree with either of you!! You would make it sound like all women want is a guy that would beat them daily and never have a kind word to say to them. Not "all" women are like that. To be fair there are some that would seem to like that sort of thing but for the most of us.....Kindness will get you a lot further than anything else!!

How about waiting until that special person causes your heart to go ZING! Then be yourself, no pretentions to be what you are not, humour goes along way and of course those silly little gifts that we give to girls go along way to help! No deep analysis needed! It's either going to work or it won't!

I don't think you should be anything else other than that, whether the person causes your heart to go ZING! or not..... I want to be accepted just as I am if someone doesn't like me then it's their choice.

To a certain extent maybe. Sometimes that ZING! requires a bit of a kick start though.
