Hello everyone,

I am new to this site, and am seriously looking to make female freinds with a view to a possible relationship. I have been single now for over a year, and seem to have lost all my confidence. I dont know what to do to meet new people, anymore. I do not really drink, so find myself strangely out-of-place if I visit a pub, yet do not know where elese to meet people.

A friend suggested I try online dating, hence my appearance here.. but I still don not know how to proceed. I used to be very out-going and confident, but it seems to have been drained from me over time. Even here, after this post, I have no idea how to proceed ..

I know .. pretty pathetic .. any advice, hints, etc , would be massively appreciated .. I really am very lonely at the moment..

Secondly, coming to the forum is the best thing you can do if you're suffering from low self-esteem, as I know from previous members that their opinion of themselves went skyward, along with their confidence levels after being here a short time.

I'd suggest you put finding a date as a low priority for the moment and just settle in, enjoy the forums, interact a little and relax, you'll soon find your making friends

You're doing just fine! Like the others said, just post to any thread that interests you. A little mental stimulation can lead to a lot of other things.
