Ok.. So...

I am 17 years old. Which makes me a young adult (well i like to think).
I have had 3 girlfriends who age from 15-17. Which is perfectly alright. Each one of these girls have dumped me for what was a good reason at the time. But later on i have found that to be a lie and that they had actually been cheating on me.

All 3 girls have sed that "you treated me like a princess and you made me feel so good and special".. "you are such an awesome lad, you are loveable and have a heart of gold and a personality to match".

So, i would like somebody to try to explain why, if this is true, why did they feel the need to get another person ? .. cos it really is confusing.

Because you're not an asshole. For some strange reason, girls of that age want the 'bad boy', the guy who is going to treat them mean. Or the 'fit lad' who is going to want to put it around.

Nice guys have no chance these days.

Yeh.. i can see that is true.

On this site i message people that are aged 16-19, because i think that i'm not old enough to message people that are 20-25. It makes me feel like i am a kid because of the age difference.

I get loads of girls that say, "oh but looks dont really matter to me, its whats inside that counts". But when does that actually count? at what age does that actually apply?

i have sent 235 messages, and recieved 115. Which means that over half the people i send messages to either dont like the look of me because, in their view, i am not "fit", or they just cant be bothered.

And then people start to wonder why you have no confidence anymore. *sigh*

What baggie says is true. I'd also like to add that certain people find it empowering to be able to choose someone different. I'd also add that, without belittling it, at your age relationships tend to be a little whimsical, even if it feels deeper at the time

Yeh. But i am fed up of not having a nice girl to talk to, to love and to spoil. I aint after sex and dirty pictures or any of that stuff. I feel like i am more mature than a 17 year old, and that i want a relationship even if it doesnt work out. Just to know that this person likes being with me.

I suppose i really just wanna feel loved by somebody who isnt in my family.

Makes perfect sense! I can relate to that totally. I think that a lot of it comes down to luck. Where relationships are concerned life seems to be completely unfair at times. I've hung on to the saying 'good things come to those who wait'. Trouble is at times I've ended up screaming 'SO HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO F**KING WAIT!!!' Ho hum

You're really quite cunning aren't you! You got them to dump you, so you could seem like a nice guy. In other words, you passed them on to some of your mates, or even better on to your enemies. You did this because you had your eye on the next one.
